I am an Educator
Educators, there are many things you can do to support students, beginning with educating on cyberbullying and taking action to help students who may be experiencing it. Learn how to start a campaign at your school, here.
We need your help
The role educators play in the movement to stop cyberbullying is crucial. We cannot continue to move the needle without your help.
Understanding David’s Law
David’s Legacy Foundation advocates for victims in an effort to bring an end to the vicious cycle of bullying. Legal remedies help many victims. However, the laws must keep up with the rapid pace with ever-changing technology.
Be the Change
Empower your students to reflect resilience by standing up for change by starting a Be the Change group on your campus. Be the Change is a student led initiative, with faculty guidance, to get involved in the community and set examples of kindness on campus. We can provide materials such as bylaws and best practices.
Take the Pledge
Lead by example and take the David’s Legacy Foundation Pledge with your students. At all events we ask our audience to stop and think before posting and pledge to never use their device as a weapon. Materials are free and a great way to start conversations with your students.
Spread the message
We can provide you and your campus complementary marketing materials that will help spread our message and share our mission. Some examples include: posters, pledge stickers, postcards, and resource flyers (also available in Spanish).
